Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

GSL Education are currently recruiting individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to support schools across Dinnington.

The role is advertised as Sports Coach to attract candidates with the right skill set. The actual work takes place within school settings, where you will support students in lessons, assist with behaviour, and help maintain a focused and positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for those who are used to leading, motivating, and working with groups, and are looking to apply those strengths in education.

Sports Coach - About the Role

You will work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include classroom support, supervising lessons, and helping students stay engaged with their learning.

Your experience in sports or coaching will play an important role in building strong relationships with students and encouraging positive attitudes in the classroom.

Core Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and in-class activities
  • Supervise pupils during lessons and ensure expectations are followed
  • Support behaviour management and promote a respectful environment
  • Engage students using structured and motivating approaches
  • Provide support to individuals and small groups where needed
  • Help with general school routines and organisation

  • Experience in sports coaching, fitness, or similar backgrounds
  • Ability to confidently manage groups of young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
