SEND Cover Supervisor – SEN School (Scunthorpe)
Location: Scunthorpe
Full-Time | Monday to Friday

GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and adaptable SEND Cover Supervisor to work full-time within a specialist SEN school in Scunthorpe. This is a dynamic role, ideal for individuals who thrive in a flexible environment and are passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
The Role:
As a SEND Cover Supervisor, you will be required to provide cover across the school as needed, supporting a range of classes and age groups depending on daily requirements. This role requires flexibility and resilience, as you may not always know your timetable in advance. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting students with a variety of SEND needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise classes across the school
- Adapt to different classrooms, subjects, and student needs on a daily basis
- Support students with a range of SEND, ensuring engagement and inclusion
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching and support staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND students is essential
- Comfortable working in a flexible role with changing daily schedules
- Confident covering a range of subjects and age groups
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- QTS is preferred, but we welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors or those currently working towards a teaching qualification
