Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Bourne, Lincolnshire

Full-Time | Monday to Friday

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to work in schools in Bourne, Lincolnshire. This is a full-time role, ideal for individuals with experience supporting children or adults with complex needs who are looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
The Role:
You will be supporting students with a wide range of additional needs, from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). The role involves working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, helping students access learning and develop essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs
- Assist with the delivery of personalised learning activities
- Support students’ emotional, social, and physical development
- Assist with personal care where required
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with complex needs, either within a school setting or in care (children or adults)
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Confidence supporting personal care needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full-time availability (Monday to Friday) is essential
