Job Title: Aspiring Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £90 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP or September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
GSL Education is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Aspiring Teachers to work in secondary schools across Lincoln, with opportunities to start immediately or from September. This role is ideal for graduates or individuals considering a career in teaching who want to gain valuable, hands-on classroom experience.
You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles including Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, Tutor, and Exam Invigilator, building a strong foundation for a future career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
- Deliver pre-set lessons as a Cover Supervisor when required
- Provide academic support and help students stay engaged
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree (or currently studying at university)
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching
- Confidence working with young people
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
