SEND Teaching Assistant – Lincoln
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Full-Time | Monday to Friday

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Lincoln. This is a full-time role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and making a real difference in their educational journey.
The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, adapting to their individual needs and promoting a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEND needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development
- Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN/SEND pupils or a background in care/support work
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full-time availability
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
