English & Maths Tutors – Secondary Students
Location: Spalding, Bourne, Boston & Sleaford (In-person)
Pay Rate: £25 – £35 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-time | Flexible hours
GSL Education is seeking experienced and dedicated English & Maths Tutors to support secondary-aged students across Spalding, Bourne, Boston, and Sleaford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping students build confidence, improve attainment, and reach their full academic potential.
This is an in-person tutoring role, so applicants must be able to travel within reasonable distance of Spalding, Bourne, Boston, and Sleaford to deliver sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 or small group tuition in English and/or Maths
- Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual student needs
- Support students with exam preparation and core skills development
- Track and monitor progress, providing feedback where required
- Build strong, positive relationships with students
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and independent learning
Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (school or tutoring)
- Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths
- Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must live within travelling distance of Spalding, Bourne, Boston, and Sleaford (this is an in-person role)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
