A well-run, welcoming primary school in Stockport is looking for a confident and compassionate Year 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 SEN support for a pupil with Autism and ADHD.

About the Role – Year 3 Teaching Assistant (SEN TA Stockport)

As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism and ADHD
  • Support with focus, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
  • Implement structured routines and consistent expectations
  • Adapt learning tasks to support understanding and independence
  • Use positive behaviour strategies and reinforcement
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

This role requires someone who understands that behaviour is communication and can respond with a calm, structured, and proactive approach.
