Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
A secondary school in Barnsley is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will assess progress, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students in reaching their academic targets.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics in line with curriculum requirements
- Assess, track and report on student progress
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners
- Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and departments
- Contribute to a positive and focused learning environment
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Professional, reliable and adaptable approach
