Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Rotherham
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a dedicated Behaviour Support professional who is passionate about helping students overcome challenges and succeed in school?
Schools in Rotherham and GSL Education are searching for a committed Behaviour Support member to provide consistent pastoral and behavioural support.
As Behaviour Support, you will work closely with pupils who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. You will help create a calm and structured environment where students feel supported and encouraged to make positive choices.
Main Duties:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans.
- Support students during lessons and unstructured times.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements of Behaviour Support:
- Previous experience in behaviour support or similar roles.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
