Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from committed Behaviour Support staff to work in schools across Dinnington. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may need guidance, structure, and encouragement to succeed in school.
As a Behaviour Support, you will play a key role in helping pupils develop positive behaviour, confidence, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with behavioural or social challenges.
- Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop self-discipline and resilience.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Build supportive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and motivation.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, sharing observations with the pastoral team.
- Assist pupils in developing coping strategies and interpersonal skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a behaviour support role.
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to challenging situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain consistent while supporting pupils’ behaviour effectively.
- Commitment to helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
