Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Alford)
Location: Alford
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time
GSL Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a school in Alford with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in the classroom.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and preparation
- Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
