Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the School:

About the Role:
You will deliver tailored lessons while supporting students’ emotional and behavioural needs, helping them make progress both academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons adapted to students with SEMH needs
  • Support emotional, social, and academic development
  • Implement behaviour strategies to encourage engagement
  • Work closely with support staff and leadership teams
  • Monitor and assess student progress

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEMH or SEN students
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

  • Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
