Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

Do you have the confidence to step into any classroom and keep learning on track? A Sheffield secondary school is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to lead lessons and maintain a focused learning environment.

About the Role:
You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and productive throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Maintain classroom discipline and engagement
- Ensure students complete set work
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
- Uphold school policies and safeguarding standards
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confident, adaptable, and professional
- Ability to motivate and engage students

- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
