Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S25
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

You will work alongside teachers to support SEN students, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in lessons and activities
- Assist with personalised learning strategies
- Encourage engagement and independence
- Monitor and record student progress
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Experience supporting SEN students desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
- Ability to work collaboratively
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
