Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay rate: £90-£120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a caring and reliable Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with a school in Middlesbrough, supporting pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As a L2 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support classroom activities and provide personal care where required, including assisting with changing. You will play a key role in ensuring pupils’ wellbeing, comfort, and engagement throughout the school day.
Main Duties:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
- Assist with personal care needs, including changing nappies where required.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and participation.
- Support students’ emotional wellbeing and development.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous experience working with young children or in a school setting.
- Comfortable providing personal care, including changing.
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
