PMLD Teaching Assistant – Lincoln | Full-Time | GSL Education
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school in Lincoln, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, and is ideal for someone who is caring, patient and passionate about supporting students with complex needs.
About the Role
- Supporting pupils with PMLD in a specialist classroom environment
- Assisting with personalised learning activities and sensory-based learning
- Supporting students with personal care and daily routines where required
- Encouraging communication, engagement and independence
- Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Full-time availability during school hours
- Experience working in a similar education setting, or experience in adult care, child care, or support work
- A calm, compassionate and patient approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
- Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Health & Social Care or SEND are beneficial but not essential
