Payrate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work with schools in Dinnington (S25), providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks.
- Support the teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) where required.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to support student progress.
Requirements of SEN TA:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach.
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and situations.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
