GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in York from Easter 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography within a supportive and high-achieving department.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire curiosity about the world, including physical and human geography topics.
  • Support students in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE level.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching Geography at KS3 and GCSE.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
