SEN Teaching Assistant – Grantham

GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Grantham. This is a full-time role starting after the Easter break, continuing until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of additional needs, making a real impact on their learning and development within a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.

Assist the teacher in delivering adapted and engaging lessons.

Support pupils with additional learning, behavioural and emotional needs.

Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
Requirements
-
Previous experience supporting individuals with additional needs, in schools, care or community settings (children or adults).

Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, health & social care or similar.

A patient, proactive and supportive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
