SEN Teaching Assistant – Bourne, Lincolnshire

GSL Education are currently recruiting a compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in and around Bourne. This role is due to start after Easter and offers the opportunity to move from supply into a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role involves supporting children of all ages with a range of complex needs, making it ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.

Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs.

Support students with complex learning, behavioural and emotional needs.

Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
Requirements

Previous experience supporting individuals with additional needs, in schools, care or community settings (adults or children).

A patient, caring and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to adapt to different school settings and student needs.
