Leicester Area
£140 – £265 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter or September 2026

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Qualified Science Teacher to join secondary schools across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to secure a rewarding role in Leicester, with positions available starting after Easter or for the new academic year in September.

Schools across Leicester are seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers who can deliver engaging Science lessons and support students across KS3 and KS4. Your specialism can be Biology, Chemistry or Physics, as schools in Leicester are open to teachers from any Science background.

The Role – Science Teacher (Leicester)

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools in Leicester

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons

  • Support students of different abilities to achieve strong outcomes

  • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management

  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff

Requirements

To be considered for this Science Teacher role in Leicester, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one

  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Be committed to delivering high-quality Science education
