Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are hiring an engaging History Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering lessons that encourage curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking.
As History Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured History lessons, supporting pupils in analysing historical sources, understanding key events, and developing strong research and writing skills within a positive classroom environment.
Prime Responsibilities of History Teacher:
- Deliver well-planned History lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Encourage enquiry, debate, and independent thinking
- Support pupils in analysing evidence and historical perspectives
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and an organised learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
