Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to work in schools in the S35 area of Sheffield.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that help pupils develop physical skills, understand the importance of fitness, and enjoy participating in a variety of sports and activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage active participation and positive attitudes towards sport and fitness.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed sporting environment.
  • Support extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
