Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a passionate History Teacher who enjoys bringing historical events and stories to life for students?

Schools in Sheffield (S11) and GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable History Teacher to deliver engaging and informative lessons.

As a History Teacher, you will help students explore key historical events, understand different perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. You will create an encouraging classroom environment where learners feel confident discussing and analysing the past.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured history lessons.
  • Encourage students to explore historical events and perspectives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Promote discussion, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and classroom engagement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching History in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
