Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a dedicated PE Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S11 area, delivering engaging lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons across a range of sports and physical activities, helping students improve their physical skills, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and active participation.
  • Maintain a safe and well-managed sports environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Support extracurricular sports activities and school competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
