SEN Teacher – Scunthorpe
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: Competitive daily rate
Contract: Supply (Flexible)

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teachers to work across schools in Scunthorpe on a supply basis. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for teachers who enjoy working in a variety of educational settings while supporting students with additional needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be confident in adapting lessons to support a wide range of learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of SEN students.

  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide effective classroom support.

  • Support students with a range of additional learning, social and emotional needs.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience teaching students with SEN.

  • Strong classroom management and adaptability.

  • A patient, supportive and proactive approach to teaching.

  • Willingness to work on a flexible supply basis.
