SEND Teaching Assistant – Lincoln

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a range of schools across Lincoln. This is a supply-based role, offering flexibility with full-time, part-time, and day-to-day opportunities available.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who are looking to gain experience across a variety of educational settings.
Responsibilities

Support students with SEND both 1:1 and in small groups.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible learning.

Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs where required.

Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
Requirements
-
Experience supporting individuals with SEND, either in schools, care settings or community environments (adults or children).

Alternatively, relevant qualifications in education, childcare, health & social care or similar.

Availability Monday–Friday, with flexibility for supply work.

A patient, proactive and caring approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
