Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you enjoy teaching modern foreign languages and inspiring students to explore different cultures and ways of communication?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher to work in Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, delivering engaging language lessons that help students develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing in another language.

As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that build students’ language skills while encouraging curiosity about different cultures and global perspectives in a supportive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Encourage cultural awareness and confidence in language learning.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an MFL Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
