Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for an experienced English Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence and strong literacy skills.
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons covering literature, language, and creative writing, helping students develop critical thinking and effective communication in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Duties:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach a range of texts, including prose, poetry, and drama.
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and student achievement.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
