Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting dedicated Behaviour Support Staff to work within schools across the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield.

As a member of the Behaviour Support Staff team, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to support pupils who require additional guidance in managing their behaviour and engagement with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies.
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.
  • Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution where necessary.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.

Requirements of Behaviour Support Staff:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
