Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Location: Birmingham (B12)
Rate: £90 - £105 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-time / Part-time

Do you have a deep commitment to supporting students with behavioural challenges? GSL Education is recruiting a Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a specialist secondary school in Birmingham (B12).

About the Role

You will support Key Stage 3 and 4 students with behavioural needs, implementing behaviour plans and promoting positive engagement in learning.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 and small group support

• Implement Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)

• Work closely with pastoral teams

• Monitor behaviour and provide feedback

• Promote social and emotional development

Requirements

• CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 (desirable)

• Behaviour management experience (highly desirable)

• Strong communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
