SEN Teaching Assistant – Lincoln

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive and inclusive school in Lincoln. This role is ideal for an experienced and compassionate individual who has previously supported pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
The Role:

Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
-
Providing targeted support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
-
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
-
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
-
Assisting the class teacher in adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
-
Promoting a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working with SEMH and SEND

Be confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently

Be patient, resilient and empathetic
-
Be available full-time (Monday to Friday)

Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
