Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work within schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs.
In this role, the Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) will work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted support, helping learners access the curriculum and develop confidence in a structured and nurturing environment.
What the role involves:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and tailored strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development as SEN Teaching Assistant
- Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals where required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
