Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are pleased to recruit a skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant for schools in the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with an individual pupil, offering tailored academic and emotional support to help them access learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support in and out of the classroom.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil’s specific needs.
- Support the pupil’s social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plans.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback as 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
