Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an experienced History Teacher to work in schools across Rotherham (S65, S66), delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ analytical skills, historical knowledge, and understanding of past events.
As a History Teacher, you will create thought-provoking lessons that encourage pupils to explore sources, ask questions, and make connections between history and the present.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons as a History Teacher.
- Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and discussion among pupils.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the history curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching history in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- An engaging, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
