Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Help students understand people, places, and the world while building critical thinking through engaging Geography lessons!

GSL Education are seeking a Geography Teacher to join a school in Rotherham (S65, S66), delivering lessons that inspire curiosity, enquiry, and an understanding of both physical and human geography.

In this role, the Geography Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that develop analytical skills, map work, and research abilities, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Geography lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage enquiry, research, and critical thinking about global and local issues
  • Support pupils in developing map, data interpretation, and presentation skills
  • Maintain positive behaviour and an engaging classroom atmosphere
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Geography Teacher

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Geography in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
