Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students understand the world around them and develop curiosity about people, places, and environments!
GSL Education are inviting applications for a passionate Geography Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S35 area. The Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that encourage enquiry, critical thinking, and an appreciation of local and global issues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the geography curriculum.
- Support students in developing map skills, data analysis, and research abilities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment and maintain high standards of behaviour.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives.
Requirements of Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
