Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an experienced History Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering lessons that develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for understanding history.
In this role, the History Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, encouraging discussion, enquiry, and reflection while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage analytical thinking, source evaluation, and discussion
- Support students in developing historical understanding and perspective
- Maintain positive behaviour and an engaging classroom atmosphere
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as History Teacher
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
