Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a committed PE Teacher to join schools in Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas. The Physical Education (PE) Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that build fitness, teamwork, and confidence while promoting a lifelong love of sport and physical activity.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, and healthy habits.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and a safe learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support extracurricular sports and school competitions.

Requirements of PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
