Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher for schools in the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop problem-solving skills, numerical fluency, and logical thinking. You will foster a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and challenged to achieve their best.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
