About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students in line with planned lessons. You will help ensure that learning continues effectively during staff absences and contribute to the smooth running of the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, maintaining order and engagement.
- Deliver lesson content following existing plans and instructions.
- Support students in their learning and ensure participation in activities.
- Monitor behaviour and report any issues in line with school policies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and any incidents.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a school or classroom setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to adapt to varying class dynamics and needs.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to student success.
