Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 - £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality sports sessions and supporting physical education lessons across different year groups. You will encourage student participation, promote teamwork and discipline, and contribute to a culture of positivity and achievement within the school.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions that promote fitness, teamwork, and skill development.
• Support PE lessons across various age groups, adapting activities to suit different abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and sportsmanship both during lessons and extracurricular activities.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events where required.
• Monitor student progress and participation, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support students’ overall development and wellbeing.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Coach, or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
• Relevant coaching qualifications or a background in sports/physical education.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying ages and abilities.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and positive approach to supporting young people.
