Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), offering tailored support to pupils who require additional guidance within the classroom.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with a specific pupil, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and engagement with learning.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused, individual support as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
  • Assist with implementing personalised learning plans.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with additional or special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
