Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Support pupils to overcome barriers and succeed both academically and personally!
GSL Education are excited to recruit committed Behaviour Support Staff for schools across the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield.
As Behaviour Support Staff, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping to create a calm and focused learning environment.
Key Duties:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy.
- Support pupils in developing positive coping and social skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as Behaviour Support Staff or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
