Pay rate: £13 -£18 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are searching for dedicated and reliable Exam Invigilators to work in a professional and supportive school environment in Stockton.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring exams run smoothly and fairly. You will create a calm and organised atmosphere that allows students to perform at their best.
Responsibilities of the Exam Invigilator:
- Supervise Exams: Monitor students during examinations to maintain a quiet and focused environment.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow exam board regulations and school procedures accurately.
- Assist Students: Provide guidance and support to students with queries during the exam.
- Prepare Exam Rooms: Set up desks, materials, and equipment before exams begin.
- Distribute and Collect Papers: Ensure all exam papers and materials are correctly handed out and collected.
- Maintain Exam Integrity: Observe and report any irregularities or incidents during exams.
- Support Students with Needs: Assist students requiring special arrangements, ensuring fairness for all candidates.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teaching and administrative staff to ensure smooth exam operations.
Requirements of the Exam Invigilator:
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain concentration for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and organised when handling exam materials and processes.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a calm and impartial manner at all times.
- Team Player: Willingness to work alongside colleagues and contribute to a positive exam environment.
- DBS: An enhanced DBS check registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
