About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discussion, and academic growth while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations where required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and literacy development.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
