Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant with a secondary focus, you will work closely with teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote confidence and independence within the classroom.
Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects, ensuring understanding and engagement.
• Assist teachers in delivering structured lessons and adapting resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with additional learning needs, helping them to stay focused and motivated.
• Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to maintaining a calm, productive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote students’ social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role within a secondary setting is desirable.
• Understanding of supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting young people’s development.
