Maths Teacher
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in Tadcaster from February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning abilities

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy

Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

Excellent classroom management skills
-
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
