English Teacher
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Tadcaster from February 2026. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can inspire pupils and raise attainment across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality English lessons

Teach Literature and Language in line with the national curriculum

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Track and monitor pupil progress

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching secondary English

Strong behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Commitment to continuous professional development
