Job Title: Aspiring Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Spilsby
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day
Contract Type: Full-time | Term-time | Long-term opportunity
Are you a graduate or career-changer looking to become a Secondary School Teacher? This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aspiring Teacher to gain valuable, hands-on classroom experience in a supportive secondary school in Spilsby.
This role is ideal for individuals considering teacher training in the future and wanting to build confidence, develop behaviour management skills, and understand how secondary schools operate before beginning a PGCE or teacher training route.
About the Role:
As an Aspiring Teacher, you will:
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery
- Provide small group and 1:1 academic support
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain engagement
- Gain experience covering lessons where appropriate
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate (any subject, core subjects desirable)
- Passionate about education and working with young people
- Confident, resilient, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
